Mr Tay Kay Luan

Mr. Tay Kay Luan was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), FIDE FORUM on 7 February 2022. As CEO, he will be spearheading the implementation of the FORUM’s strategic initiatives to achieve its vision of becoming the leader in promoting corporate governance excellence in the boards of financial institutions licensed in Malaysia.
 
Kay Luan has wide implementation experience in his career history by turning around organizations in profitability, market growth and brand positioning. He led and played an instrumental role towards strengthening the financial position of the International University of Malaya Wales, building the membership growth of ACCA in ASEAN markets and the establishment of Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB).
 
He is currently a senior adviser to the UK based Harmonious Entrepreneurship Society, and a trustee with Astro Kasih. He was a member of BNM Steering Committee on the transformation of the Islamic Finance Education Landscape. He has held the chairman position of the Business Council of Sustainable Development Malaysia.
 
Kay Luan holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor degree in Social Science (Honours) from Kingston University, London. Kay Luan has authored 3 books on Sustainability, and a regular speaker at international conferences. He is currently pursuing a 4-year PhD with Graduate Business School, USM.
