In line with FIDE FORUM’s aspiration to be the ‘voice’ of financial institutions (“FIs”) Directors, we are pleased to bring to you the ‘BNM-FIDE FORUM Roundtable on Licensing and Regulatory Framework for Digital Insurers and Takaful Operators (“DITOs”)’, in conjunction with the Exposure Draft issued by Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”). This dialogue session, which will be held on 11 April 2023 (Tuesday), 10.00am to 11.30am at the Asia School of Busines, is an exclusive event for our member Directors to engage with senior officials of BNM to discuss substantive matters that concern FIs boards, and for member Directors to share your views on pertinent areas of the Exposure Draft.

The session will center around the following topics:

1.        Value propositions of DITOs, as set out in the Exposure Draft
2.        Regulatory requirements to be observed by DITOs
3.        Enabling ecosystem and infrastructure for DITOs
