Getting it Right: Securing Results from Digital Transformation

Speaker: Prof Loredana Padurean, Senior Associate Dean, Asia School of Business (ASB) and International Faculty Fellow, MIT Sloan
 
Prof. Loredana has been one of the key “nailers” behind the establishment of the ASB, and in particular, has directed the development of the globally recognised action learning programme at ASB. She is a global entrepreneurial academic with a track record of programme, school and intellectual leadership for multiple degrees. She is also a global keynote speaker and her talk “Nail it, Scale it, Sail it” is a popular TEDx talk.
 
Prof. Loredana will share the critical digital transformation success factors and how to make these initiatives work as key business enablers.  In particular, Prof. Loredana will discuss the following:
 
1. How can people in the organisation play their roles in digitalisation? How should the leaders support them?

2. What are the possible gaps in the organisation that may prevent the desired digital culture from emerging?

3. In view of the opportunities and threats posed by digital culture, what conditions must be in place in order for the cultural transformation to take place soundly?

4. What does the Board need in order to better manage and lead the digital shifting? 

5. In view of the above, what conversations must Board of Directors and Senior Management hold now? What should they proceed to next?
