As set out in BNM’s Financial Sector Blueprint 2022 – 2026, the deployment of end-to-end digital claims solutions will help deliver a seamless experience and address prevailing pain points faced by consumers following an accident. BNM has conveyed the expectations for the insurers and Takaful operators (ITOs) to advance digital transformation efforts across the motor claims process, starting with providing digital roadside assistance to consumers. In this regard, we are pleased to inform you that BNM will be conducting a virtual engagement session with the Board of Directors (BODs) of ITOs to share BNM’s vision and expectations for the motor claims ecosystem and seek feedback from the BODs in supporting the agenda.
